Early Life
Barlett was born in Adelaide; however, his family was forced to relocate to Queensland’s Gold Coast when he was just 7 years old. And there, he started playing junior cricket for Surfers’ Paradise here, in November 2015. At the age of 17, he made his Gold Coast Dolphins first-grade debut In terms of his education. At the age of 17, Xavier won his debut in first-grade cricket with the Gold Coast Dolphins, starting his domestic career. But in a List A match against India A in 2016, he made his professional debut by dismissing Michael Klinger was playing for the National Performance Squad.
He went on to debut for Queensland in the 2019-20 Sheffield Shield Season.
