Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium is located in Chattogram, Bangladesh. The whole capacity of the stadium is around 22,000 people in one match. The stadium has hosted BPL(Bangladesh Premier League) and T20 matches in Bangladesh. The other name of the stadium is Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium.

History

The previous name of Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium was Chittagong Divisional Stadium. 

This was renamed to honor Zahur Ahmad Chowdhury, a prominent political leader and freedom fighter. The stadium was established in the 2000s, and has since evolved into one of the significant and important stadiums in Bangladesh. The stadium officially became a Test Cricket Venue in 2005. This marks the new era for the country’s cricketing journey. The stadium got its international cricket stadium in 2006, ahead of Sri Lanka’s tour to Bangladesh.
