1. Vaibhav Suryavanshi (Rajasthan Royals)

In IPL 2026, Vaibhav Suryavanshi definitely made his mark as a batting sensation and became one of the youngest players at just 15 years old to dominate the tournament. The Rajasthan Royals hitters also ended up as the top run scorer in the tournament with an impressive 776 runs in 16 matches.

The man’s strike rate of 237.30 was just out of the ordinary and put him miles away from all other participants in the tournament. He hit 72 sixes and 63 fours, showing his ability to run at both pace and spin. He Score 100 games and 5 half-centuries and always produced explosive scenarios that turned the tide of games. Gill’s approach to the plate is based on timing, technique and smart shot selection and he was able to showcase all three aspects on a consistent basis. Both as a target and setting a target, Gill often came up at the start of the order with that stability and class.

There is an aspect of Gill’s campaign that was truly impressive – his balance between consistency and attacking intent. Virat Kohli once again proved himself amongst the best players in IPL history. In spite of the young lot in the middle and changing trends in T20, Kohli played extremely well and ended up with 675 runs in 16 games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The season was a product of his experience, discipline and very keen sense of match situations. Kohli has often been the figure to lead his side through rough patches and deliver some of the best innings to keep RCB in the game in critical situations.

The previous Indian batsman had the best batting average of the top four run scorers with an impressive average of 56.25. His unbeaten century and five half-centuries added to his good strike-rate of over 165 showed he could be a class apart in the playing of long innings. Capitals’ Rahul had hit 593 runs in 14 matches and was the 7th highest run-scorer of the tournament. What set him apart was that he didn’t play as many matches as some of the players that were ahead of him in the list, but he did manage to gather his runs. Rahul’s relatively composed approach to the ball, his ability to play with control and aggression at the right time and place and his overall technical approach gave him the edge in the game.
